When you enter the training room, you stop and bow in the proper manner. The same applies when leaving the gym.
The head instructor is addressed in the training room as “SENSEI”, all assistants and instructors are addressed as “SEMPAI”.
The word “HAI” is used instead of yes when you indicate that you have understood what the instructor has said.
If you are late for the training, you walk up to the instructor and bow, then walk to the back of the line and join the training.
Fingernails and toenails must be clean and trimmed short to avoid injury, and the student must appear clean and well-groomed.
Necklaces, watches, bracelets, plate rings, earrings, etc. must not be worn during training to avoid injury.
In the training room, a discreet appearance is required and the instructor's instructions must be followed without delay. A good training effort and a respectful attitude towards karate and its practitioners, as well as towards your instructor, are emphasized.
Chewing gum, singing, whistling and unnecessary talking are not allowed during training and if you have any questions, please raise your hand.
When a team is sitting and meditating, everyone else in the room must remain silent.
It is extremely important that all karate practitioners adhere to the international karate etiquette and internal rules to create the right karate atmosphere and effective training.
